Mental Health

The CDC defines Mental Health as: a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.

One in five New Yorkers have a mental health disorder in a given year. Mental health challenges and illnesses are treatable. ThriveNYC is a plan to empower all New Yorkers to stand up to stigma and help get treatment.
