The Safe Prescriber Pledge Kickoff took place on April 10th at the College of Staten Island’s Williamson Theatre. Over 300 professionals representing multiple specialties attended the kickoff, ready to join the effort to reduce opioid related overdoses and deaths on Staten Island. This kickoff event launched an island-wide campaign to educate prescribers and patients about alternatives to opioids and how to use them safely when prescribing is necessary. You can see the full gallery of the event here.
